Bryanna Petrie RSW MSW,
EMDR Therapist
Bryanna Petrie is a Registered Social Worker and EMDR therapist. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto. For over eight years, she has helped adults recover from trauma, stress, and PTSD.
Specifically, her clinical work includes post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and intergenerational trauma. In addition, she works with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and difficult life transitions.
As an EMDR therapist, Bryanna specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This is a structured trauma therapy, and it’s recognized in major clinical guidelines for PTSD treatment. Beyond EMDR, she also draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and somatic therapy techniques. As a result, she can support stabilization, insight, and symptom relief, depending on each client’s needs.
Overall, her approach to trauma therapy is trauma-informed and mind-body oriented. Above all, she focuses on collaboration, pacing, and psychological safety. Because of this, Bryanna creates a grounded, supportive space for clients. There, they can strengthen emotional regulation, shift stuck patterns, and build practical coping skills for daily life and relationships.
